Mercedes Benz Swim Week – Aqua Di Lara is the designer swimwear line by award-winning Creative Director, Reyhan Sofraci.
In 2007 Sofraci was given the Fashion Designer of the Year award by the prestigious Institut de Design Montréal for her internationally-acclaimed works. With a passion for lingerie and high fashion, Sofraci concentrates on creating daring styles that are masterfully sewn using high-quality European fabrics and production techniques surpassing standards expected of designer swimwear.
Inspired by her many travels and diverse cultural background, Sofraci uses vibrant and exotic materials on the body like a master painter would on a canvas. Fabrics play a vital role in influencing each collection’s design. From rich solids to classic blacks and delicate patterns, Sofraci captures the essence of each material to create lines that are sophisticated and unique.
