DASHING DIVA NAILS RED DRESS SHOW – On Wednesday, February 9th, Celebrity nail technician Pattie Yankee and the Dashing Diva nail team worked backstage on models for the Red Dress celebrity charity show for the Heart Truth campaign on February 9th at the Theatre at Lincoln Center.

Kicking off Fashion Week for a good cause, Audrina Patridge, Katrina Bowden, Taraji P. Henson, Gayle King, Giuliana Rancic, and Camila Alves were some of the celebrity models who donned red dresses and Dashing Diva nails to benefit the fight against heart disease.

At the personal request of burlesque diva Dita Von Teese, the leader in artificial nail designs Kiss Products has created exclusive nails in her signature red moon manicure. These oval shaped, white and red nails now allow Dita to wear her favorite look for up to a week without chipping. The nails can be glued on or applied with Kiss’ self-adhesive tabs for a press-on option. They are not available for purchase yet, however, a new collection of Kiss nails in a variety of styles and designs will be launching on March 20^th at all leading drugstores nationwide.

Dashing Diva’s Nail Trend Update

Dashing Diva’s head nail tech Pattie Yankee and her team have been very busy with manicures at this year’s New York Fashion Week with some fall nail trends from the Brian Reyes, Nary Manivong and Trias shows.

Designer Brian Reyes chose a sheer nude/pink shade for nails, called 57^th & 5^th, to compliment the fall collection.

Nary Manivong

Stylist Ally Hilfiger and designer Nary Manivong collaborated with Pattie Yankee to create an ultra sleek and modern oval nail painted in No More Alimony, a shiny, nude metallic from Dashing Diva’s fall 2010 collection.

Trias
The designer wanted a subtle grey/brown shade for the nails to go with the natural earthy theme of the show. Proximate, Pattie Yankee mixed the grey Astor Place with the taupe West Village to create a hot mushroom Shitake shade.

The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection and Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Collection were recently presented at the New York Fashion Week 2010 by various VIPs who got nailed by the Dashing Diva nail tech team.

The Dashing Diva nail tech team helped celebreties and top models to get ready for their walk at the annual Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection show during the New York Fashion Week to raise awareness for heart disease in women. Celebreties and models chose from a variety of red and also some black Dashing Diva polishes, of wich their favorites have been: Big Apple Red, The Red Carpet, and Love Hate Relationship.

Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief

Head nail tech Pattie Yankee and the Dashing Diva team were backstage with Diane Von Furstenberg, Donna Karen, Kelly Osbourne, Chris Brown, Helena Christensen, Sarah Ferguson and more at Naomi Campbell’s fashion show to benefit Haiti. Styled by renown stylist Rachel Zoe, the nails were painted a crisp, bright white shimmer shade which really popped on the runway.
