Grand Opening of McCormick Place

McCormick Place, New Art Lounge Event Space in Downtown Kicks-off Grand Opening with Miami City Ballet’s Upper Room

One of Downtown Miami’s original buildings is opening its doors as an art lounge event space on September 7th, 2012 in conjunction with the Miami City Ballet’s Upper Room Season Opening Party. The event will feature art, exotic cars, live music, DJ’s, performances by Cirque X, Life is Art, food trucks and more, with an expected attendance of 400-500 guests. The venue features exterior murals by established South Florida artists Stephen Gamson and Eleazar Delgado as well as Ai Miami International University of Art & Design.
