Christian Siriano Goes Egyptian!

Golden lipped models with branzed lidded eyes walked like Egyptians down the catwalk during Project Runway winner Christian Siriano’s fall 2009 show, which took place in the tents at Bryant Park, New York.

Siriano unveiled a sophisticated collection of coats, dresses and sleek pantsuits in fabrics like alpaca, silk charmeuse and organza.

To pay for the elaborate show in the Tents, Siriano managed to wrangle corporate sponsorships from Payless, LG Electronics, Sprint and Victoria’s secret Beauty. The models wore towering Payless shoes that were designesd by Siriano and one of the models emerged wearing a vest with an LG ‘ Lotus’ phone hanging out of the front pocket.
