A recently-discovered Leonardo da Vinci painting, ‘La Bella Principessa‘ (sold in 2007 for $19,000, and now valued at €110 million), is being exhibited for the first time at a ground-breaking exhibition in Gothenburg, West Sweden. The exhibition ‘And There Was Light‘ opened its doors in Gothenburg on March 20th and will include around 50 original pieces by three of the Renaissance masters – Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael, valued overall at more than €200 million. Most of the pieces are privately owned and have rarely or never been shown in public. Available video includes footage of the unveiling of ‘La Bella Principessa’ by da Vinci as well as the police-guarded transportation of da Vinci paintings and other original italian masterpieces.
