Gilles Mendel took 1960s Catherine Deneuve-inspired glamour to a new, futuristic level with this collection which should be in the stores now.


The Paris bred designer, who has reinvented the concept of fur in the legacy of this fifth generation family fur house, kept up the tradition with subtle appearance of fur in a few coats, boleros and jackets.

His collection featured elegant tweeds, silks, and of course, his signature furs with gorgeous details and perfect finish. Mixing textures as well as metallic threads in matte tweed was the order of the day for a fresh take on classic shapes.
