E.Y Wada: Korean Girl Meets Japanese Boy!

New York based E.Y. Wada showcased their new fall collection at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Bryant Park where bourgeois and bohemian found a happy mix.

Inspired by New York street style they combined casual basics with elegant details and reinventing standard pieces with luxury materials. With fabrics sourced from Italy and Paris they like to experiment with new treatments. Combinations include linen woven with bamboo for spring, lamé houndstooth for fall.

The new fall pieces are “darker” but the designers caught the new wave of fall color and made this collection really strong and elegant. Monochromatic satin pencil skirts, fitted tops, satin shirts and maxi dresses illuminated the catwalk. Congratulation goes out to Eunyoung and Shuji as the Big Apple adopted your style!
