Samsung Electronics America, Inc., with reigning women’s halfpipe Olympic gold medalist Hannah Teter, today launched its own Olympic qualifiers for consumers to be one of 10 Samsung Mobile Explorers representing Team USA at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Their mission will be to document the Olympic experience through videos, blog posts and mobile updates; and the Ultimate Mobile Explorer will win an incredible Samsung prize package and will be a featured blogger on Samsung.com and FOXSports.com

Their mission will be to document the Olympic experience through videos, blog posts and mobile updates; and the Ultimate Mobile Explorer will win an incredible Samsung prize package and will be a featured blogger on Samsung.com and FOXSports.com
To enter, people are asked to pair up and create a video application demonstrating their: experience and interest in blogs and social networking, ability to seek-out and generate buzz, and general excitement about the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Video applications should be submitted online at www.mobileexplorers.msn.com now through January 8, 2010.
During the 20 days of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, the 10 Mobile Explorers will compete in challenges and capture it all on video with Samsung Mythic mobile phones. Videos and blog entries will be posted daily on www.mobileexplorers.msn.com.
The U.S. Samsung Mobile Explorers will be joined in Vancouver by 40 other Explorers from Canada, Russia, China and South Korea.
