Alexandre Herchcovitch brings “Metropolian Chaos” into his new Fall collection!

Born in the chaos of Sao Paulo, Alexandre Herchcovitch decided to take his roots into this fall collection. While Kanye West was sitting front row, Herchcovitz unveiled his collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in New York.

In his new collection the Brazilian designer mixed multiple silhouettes in a single piece of clothing. The theme continued through to the accessoires: Models carried ‘pieces of the city’ in their hands in the form of stone-shaped minaudières. Herchcovitzch designed a smaller-than-normal collection following the fall 2009 trend with several architectural pieces, balanced by soft and flowing ruffle dresses. Half-shoulder fur shawls added a much needed pizazz to the closing structural black garments.
