Badgley Mischka takes you back to the 1930’s Berlin!

Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka showcase their fall 2009 collection. This fall collection the designers were inspired by the Berlin’s 1930’s, a time of uncertainty but where women still wanted to look their best.
The collection includes beautiful one-shoulder cocktail dresses in vibrant colors such as ruby red and a marine blue. Black gowns graced the runway that had beaded bodices in gold and black but one dreamy addition – tulle and chiffon overlays! The show’s closing piece, the ‘Galaxy’ gown, was spotted gold pieces throughout with a tulle overlay.
This year’s New York Fall Fashion Week seemed like a rebirth of the old and tweaking of the new. Badgley Mishka definately followed the trend and added some of their own flavor into this fashion mix!
