Every designer has an iconic piece they create that says with them throughout their career and becomes the embodiment of their label, for Herve Leger we talk about the sexy, skimpy and sleek bandage dress. Wearing one of these bandage dresses has become a rite of passage for young actresses.

The designer showcased this Fall 2009 collection and Herve found his inspiration in an urban jungle.

For Fall the designer chose a muted Saharan palette and successfully played with texture through weaving and insets of exotic skins.
Azria’s Africana motif came out in graphic tribal patterns, slick snake skin inserts and metal-plate embellishments. Colors, meanwhile, stayed earthy: browns, greens, coppers and blacks.

Celebrity’s as Sophia Bush, Lucy Liu, Jessica Stroup, Michelle Trachtenberg or Joy Bryant came out to show support.
